Dr. Jennifer Murphy is a licensed clinical neuropsychologist with 18 years clinical research experience in industry, academia, and clinical practice settings. In her role at VeraSci, she consults on phase I-III clinical trials in Alzheimer’s Disease, narcolepsy, Parkinson’s disease, depression, and pain as well as providing scientific oversight for CNS trials. Dr. Murphy writes clinical trial protocols; selects assessments, scales, and endpoints; conducts patient eligibility review for on-going trials; performs rater training; and develops data quality analytics.
She has more than 30 publications in frontotemporal dementia in Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) and Alzheimer’s disease. She is a team member of the NINDS Common Data Elements (CDE) ALS Workgroup, making recommendations to industry about the measures required for cognitive assessments of ALS. Her clinical practice focused on the neuropsychological evaluation and clinical management of in-patients with dementia disorders, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and co-morbid depression and anxiety disorders.
